Bio
Chris Boebel is the writer/director of an award-winning documentary Containment: Life After Three Mile Island (2004) (co-dir: Nick Poppy) and a feature-length fiction film Red Betsy (2004). His work has screened at over 50 film festivals worldwide, including Sundance, and aired on U.S. public television, the BBC and other networks. He is an alumnus of New York University’s Graduate Film Program (Tisch). Among other awards, he has received a New England Emmy, a Cine Eagle Award, two ITVS Development Grants, a Paramount Pictures Grant, and he was nominated for a Cable Ace award. He makes and teaches documentary video at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
